The “rooms” themselves are coffin-shaped spaces stacked one on top of the other. A small television screen, power outlet, and Ethernet jack or Wi-Fi access is usually available within the capsule, This type of hotel is usually only available in metropolitan areas and runs from 3,000 to 5,000 yen ($30 to $50) per night Other options, such as hostels, are available for budget-minded travelers.
