As the name suggests the house is built with beer cans and not with the normal sand and brick. Isn’t it weird? It is, but interesting too at the same time because of the story behind the house. The owner of the house John Milkovisch transformed his Houston home to beer can house which is now among the recognized folk art icons. And for these he needed an whooping 39000 beer cans. Adding to your anxiety regarding the house it is known that John himself emptied all the 39000 beer cans and drank 14000 liters of beer to get his dream home come true. Despite the excessive alcohol in the body the cans are placed too minutely like an artist do which has not moved yet till date.
2. Missile Base Bachelor Pad: Oplin, Texas
Another bizarre destination is the subterranean home of Bruce Townsley who himself was a former home renovator. The atlas missile silo, which is the home of the Bruce, now is designed by him and has all the amenities including kitchen, dining, and bedroom. Not only this, it is also equipped with the modern technological advanced systems as well. Only thing to be taken care of is that the plan of visiting the missile silo cum house must be made in advance.
3. Cathedral of Junk: Austin, Texas
The Cathedral was built by Vince Hanneman, a very down to earth man, who didn’t build the cathedral for getting attention but for fun as he found the work cool.
