Orlando’s Largest Attractions

A trip to Orlando offers up the chance to visit some of the world’s most famous theme parks, but deciding which Florida theme park tickets you should buy can be a tricky business. This article takes a look at some of the largest attractions in and around Orlando, to give you a little helping hand when deciding.

Disney World Resort – The Magic Kingdom

We start with the biggest and most well known park in Orlando, the world famous Disney World and its Magic Kingdom. Many see this as the classical theme park experience and with many great rides and fantastic shows on offer it’s easy to see why. The park itself is enormous; it’s parcelled up into smaller sections to help people navigate around. Park highlights include the shopping at Main Street USA, the impressive Cinderella’s castle and the pirate themed rides, such as Pirates of the Caribbean in Adventureland.

Disney World Resort – Epcot

The second park on our list is another one located in the wider Disney World Resort, the fascinating Epcot. Epcot focuses on a more cerebral experience, with the park theming itself around modern technology and culture. Of all the fantastic Orlando attractions on offer Epcot is definitely the most educational of the parks. The park is built around eleven pavilions, representing countries from around the world, such as Canada, Italy and Morocco, each packed full of cultural wonders and experiences.

SeaWorld

As the name would suggest the Orlando based Sea World revolves around Sea Life. The park is another educational attraction, suitable for all the family, where you can learn about Sea Life. It’s not all about the education however; the park is also famous for its spectacular shows featuring animal performers and its range of thrilling rides. The animal performances usually feature the animals showing off by performing tricks, but they also provide a chance to learn more about the animals in the wild.

Universal Studios

The final park on our list is another big one, the brilliant Universal Studios. As you would expect for a park named Universal Studios’, the rides and attractions here are mostly themed around famous movies and TV shows. From the fake Hollywood to the Simpsons themed ride that sees you crashing through Krustyville, there really is something for everyone in Universal Studios.
