The Tasman National Park is located on the Tasman Peninsula in the south-east of the Australian island of Tasmania. Highlights are many and varied within this National Park but you should be sure to check out the Tessellated Pavement, the aptly named Remarkable Cave, Waterfall Bay and rock formations such as the Blowhole and Tasman Arch. All are popular
tourist attractions but you will find it incredibly easy to escape the crowds and find some quiet corner of this protected area where you can be entirely alone.

You can camp within the park, at popular Fortescue Bay, or at one of many campsites in the vicinity of the National Park. Nearby you will also find the historic attraction of Port Arthur, a window onto a dark period in the history of this great island.
