Tourist Spots in Singapore

There is no better way to see all the fascinating sights in Singapore than in a Maxi Cab. A Maxi Cab is a seven-seat taxi that is available 24 hours a day and will take visitors to the places they want to see.

The Singapore Zoo

The Singapore Zoo is a world-class attraction where most of the animals live in their natural habitat. The Wildlife Park has an open concept where visitors can get close to the animals. Orangutans, deer, jaguars, cheetahs, monkeys and thousands more are easy to see in the open yet safe environment. The zoo also offers one of the best Night Safaris in the world. There is also a water park play area for children.

The Singapore Botanic Gardens

The Singapore Botanic Gardens is a lush, green forest in the middle of the city. It has a vast collection of plants, some of which are endangered. Admission is free, and it is a good place to rest and relax after a day of shopping. Swan Lake is near the entrance amid the beautiful trees and flowers. The National Orchid Garden is part of the botanic gardens as well as a tropical rainforest.

The Singapore Flyer

Get an overview of the island on the world’s largest Ferris wheel. It reaches 165 meters and offers 360-degree views of the city and sea. It is located in Marina Bay.

The National Museum of Singapore

This museum is the oldest in Singapore and is famous for its innovation. It presents its collection in diverse and sophisticated ways that are not the conventional museum experience of a room full of artifacts. It also offers events and festivals to bring history and cultural heritage alive for people of all ages to enjoy.

Little India

This is truly a small part of India in Singapore. There are stalls that sell traditional Indian sweets, fresh fruit and flowers as well as inexpensive clothing and shoes. The restaurants serve authentic Indian dishes. After some time visitors forget they are in Singapore, and when the Maxi Cab takes them back to their hotels, they feel as if they are entering another country.

Sentosa Island

Sentosa Island is called Asia’s Favorite Playground. Visitors can relax on the beach, but there is a lot more to do. Universal Studios Singapore is there with Hollywood Boulevard, The Lost World and much more. Marine Life Park where visitors can interact with dolphins, rays and other underwater wildlife is on the island. The Maritime Experiential Museum is a multi-sensory exhibition that takes visitors to treasure, shipwrecks and deep ocean life. The Festive Walk is a half-kilometer strip that has great shopping, dining, clubs, shows and television productions.

Marina Bay Sands

Visitors must see the new Integrated Resort Marina Bay Sands. It is already a Singapore icon, and visitors can spend days there shopping in the endless retail shops and luxury boutiques. There is every kind of food imaginable there from delicious Indian and Chinese street food and sandwiches to seven celebrity-chef restaurants and western-style food. There is an atrium casino, which is the largest in the world, two large theaters, two floating Crystal Pavilions, an ice skating rink, and on top of it all is a cantilevered infinity swimming pool.
