Visit the City of Light and allow the breathtaking Paris tourist attractions to take you on a journey – an exciting adventure where you will experience culture, be captivated by beauty, and revisit history.

Regarded as the most romantic city on earth, Paris combines contemporary culture with old world charm, making it one of the most intriguing and enchanting vacation destinations. Offering over 200 art galleries and museums, famous attractions and hidden treasures, chic cafes and romantic restaurants, Paris has something to delight every visitor and impress every guest.

The Louvre. Travel across the ages and explore centuries of art and antiquities by stepping through the doors of one of the world’s oldest, largest, and most fascinating museums. Once a royal palace, this historical landmark houses some of the most amazing and acclaimed testaments to artistic brilliance. View Da Vinci’s “Mona Lisa” Michelangelo’s “Dying Slave”, or the famous Greek sculpture “Venus de Milo”. Be transported from Ancient Egypt to Mesopotamia; visit the Middle Ages or experience the artistic awakening of the Italian Renaissance; and explore the Ottoman Period or the distinctive styles of the French Revolution. Walk through the Louvre and listen as history speaks of the love, strength, and perseverance displayed throughout the ages.

Arc de Triomphe and Champs-Elysees. Take a relaxing stroll down Champs-Elysees, one of the world’s most glamorous and beautiful avenues. Enjoy a show at a cinema, browse specialty shops, or savor rich delicacies at a quiet, intimate cafe. Take your time and enjoy everything Champs-Elysees has to offer, ending your journey with the piece de resistance, the Arc de Triomphe. This amazing example of architecture crowns a crossroads, or a joining of 12 avenues, and was commissioned by Napoleon Bonaparte as a tribute to military prowess and achievements. Engraved with the names of Napoleon’s commanding generals, this monument also houses the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier which was added to the base in 1920. From the viewing platform atop the arch you will be able to take in the sights and identify other popular attractions.

Notre Dame. This stunning cathedral, regaining notoriety as the home of Disney’s Hunchback, is known for its Gothic architecture, dramatic towers and spires, and beautiful stained glass windows. This magnificent project took almost 200 years to complete and visitors will be captivated by the stone gargoyles, intricate artistry, and breathtaking view of the city.

If you find Notre Dame impressive then it is worth taking the extra time to visit Saint-Chapelle. Built in 1248 by King Louis IX, Saint-Chapelle also boasts the grandiose Gothic style, a star painted ceiling, and remarkable stained glass walls.

Sacre-Coeur. Perched on the highest point of Paris, the Sacre-Coeur is a majestic white-domed 19th century basillica built in the distinctive Roman-Byzantyne style. Located in the Montmartre district, referred to as the center of artistic life, a visit to Sacre-Couer offers much more than a historical monument. The area is bustling with street performers, vendors, and theater productions that are guaranteed to provide a fun and exciting day. And don’t forget to enjoy the spectacular view of the city from the top of the Montmartre hill.

Eiffel Tower. Perhaps nothing defines Paris more than the Eiffel Tower. This commanding structure is a focal point, capturing your attention from anywhere in the city. While long lines and large crowds are somewhat of a deterrent, the view from the top is worth the wait and effort. And if you are looking for a little romance, visit the tower in the evening when it is lit with thousands of sparkling lights.

Boat Tour of Seine River. Often titled the “city of love”, nothing captures the beauty and passion of Paris more than a romantic cruise down the Seine. View some of the most popular historical sights, ornate bridges, and lovely scenery, while relaxing over a quiet dinner or snuggling under a starry sky.

Whether you want to experience history, romance, beautiful scenery, or interesting culture, Paris tourist attractions offer something for everyone.
