Things to Do in Kuta Bali
Kuta is a famous tourist destination in Bali. Due to its popularity, it is not easy to find accommodation in Kuta Bali on peak holiday season. There are many attractions available in this beach tourist area ranging from shopping and surfing in its popular beach.
In south Kuta, along The Kartika Plaza street lies the biggest shopping mall facing the Indian Ocean. Little shops and restaurants are also present with some international hotels are located in this street.
Toward the center of Kuta, lies another shopping complex known as the Kuta square. There are many shops selling branded items in this area.
Next to the Kuta square, the street leads to the popular Kuta beach where more places to stay are available along this beach. Kuta beach extends to about 2-3 kms. It is always busy with visitors who want to spend their time in the beach, swimming, attending surfing lesson or just enjoy the beach or watching the sun set.
Just by the beach, lies an esplanade called the Kuta Beach Street or Jalan Pantai Kuta where more expensive accommodation are located. Less expensive accommodations are available in the inner area. Home stays, small hotels for backpackers can be found in this inner area which can accessed through small alleys.
Parallel with the Kuta Beach Street is Legian street. (Legian street is another village located adjacent to Kuta, but the Legian Street extends to Kuta, though it’s in Kuta it is named Legian street).
Legian Street is where more night entertainment is available. Bars and discotheque can be found along this street. Small restaurants offering local and international cuisine are ready to satisfy visitors’ taste bud can be spotted easily in the area.
In short, Kuta is a busy town with a different kind of entertainments for a wide range of different type of visitors.
