Keeping your identity as secure as possible, dress up like locals, don’t tag your address on the luggage too visibly. Ask your hosts to provide the pick and drop so you might not need to hire ride alone.

While visiting some tourist attraction it is a good idea to keep things as light as possible. Keep photo copy of the documents that might be important like passport, Id, and credit cards. Keep a small flashlight with you always to avoid being in dark. Don’t use drugs or alcohol too much in strange places.

Keeping a kit of first aid is essential in the out doors adventures. This should include the snake kit and knowing the CPR could be a valuable asset especially in beach. Similarly keeping the medicine that you might need during the whole journey is also must as some medicines might not be available in the countries that you visit.

Don’t wear Gold chain, rings, expensive watch, or even the luggage cases; this might attract the undue attention. Don’t accept food or drink from anybody you are not familiar with. Checking the room safety with chains and locks is a good thing too.

Don’t flash your documents or money in public, similarly pay the driver in taxi and use only marked cabs, similarly park in the well lighted areas too; also don’t tell any stranger your hotel room number etc.

If traveling with family all the members should discuss the possibility of being in accident or being in emergency. The emergency numbers should be with every one.
