The islands first rose to prominence when Captain James cook visited the islands in the 17th century, naming it the Sandwich Islands. Hawaii
Often called the ‘Big Island’, this volcanic island is the biggest of the Hawaiian Islands. Most of its economy is based on tourism. Places of interest are Akala Falls State Park, Hawaii Volcanoes State Park, South Point at Ka Lae, Waipo Valley, Polulu Valley Overlook, Thurston Lava Tube, Hawaii Tropical Botanical Garden.
Maui
When you go to Hawaii, try the Hawaiian Luau, a traditional feast that is usually accompanied by entertainment. You can find some of the best Hawaiian Luau on Maui. Maui is the second largest Hawaiian island. If you are going to take a vehicle, don’t miss driving along the picturesque Hana Highwayalong the east coast. Oahu
Nicknamed ‘the Gathering Place’, Oahu is the most populous island. Honolulu, the state capital is situated here. Oahu has over ten famous beaches. Kauai and Lanai
