There are so many things to do as well, that if you have children, then they won’t be bored as you take them to some breathtaking cities.
Aix on Provence is one of those cities which won’t be far from your rented villas in the south of France as it is pretty central to the whole Provence area. It is one of the most famous cities because of the artist Paul Cezanne, and because of the cultural influences it has on the rest of France. Enjoy the restaurants and fantastic shops, while you wander round the city taking it all in.
Arles is a stunning city in the south of France which also houses many villas for rent that you can take advantage of. Many people rent of their villas in the south of France in this area, because it is so popular and many people come and visit it.
The Rhone river and the Camargue both borer Arles and the most famous part of the city id the spectacular Roman arena, Ler Arenes is a must see as the Roman built if for the Roman games and it is still in use today for the controversial bullfights that take place.
Another area that has many villas in the south of France for rent is Avignon. Avignon is very beautiful and is busy all year round. This is due to the retail parks that lie on the outskirts of the city housing big shops such as Ikea and Decathlon, whereas the centre of the city is ideal for tourists.
Surrounded by the city walls, Avignon has the Palais des Papes which housed six popes from 1930. It is an amazing building which you must see, and then after you can try one of the lovely restaurants on the main strip of Avignon outside the impressive Hotel du Ville.
Named one of the most beautiful village’s in France, you can see why Gordes gets this title again and again once you go there. Perched on the side of a cliff, this village is full of shops, restaurants and gorgeous views. Beware, as expected it is quite steep!
