Transnistria is located within the international borders of Moldova. Although it is not recognized by any international organization, it functions like a state. Tourists like this place very much and they visit this place and many return here year after year. There are many reasons as to why tourism is so famous here. The river called Turunchuk river is the second largest river in the country and annual water festivals take place here.

People who love mountains and are a little adventurous will love it here because hiking trails, bicycle paths and canoeing tours are developed within the country and are major attractions. Water sports are also famous here. The weather here is very good and has a favourable geographical position. There are some well developed railways and highways. There is an abundance of fruits and vegetables here and it is located close to the black sea.

Transnistria is a breakaway state and like all breakaway states it has declared independence and freedom. Tiraspol is the capital city of Transnistria. The economy and the standard of living of the people here has improved over the years. There are new shops and restaurants here and a new sports complex has opened up. Since its location is not far from Central Europe, it is not difficult to get to Transnistria. This is a good holiday spot and you will surely like this place. It is an ideal family holiday destination and one can explore the beauty of the natural sites here. About 80% of the country is attributed only for tourists and all kinds of recreational activities. There are some natural and medicinal springs found in the northern part of the country. Many health resorts are built.

There are many parks which are founding the capital city of Tiraspol, which has all kinds of recreational facilities, and are ideal for children. There are also some unique monuments found in Kamenka and Slobozya which is a natural attraction for the visitors. Caves,digs and many other architectural monuments are also found on this territory which is again a point of attraction for the visitors.

Transnistria is considered as a great melting pot. This region has strong roots of jews in it and a cosmopolitan culture is found here. There are no problems getting visas here and anybody who chooses to visit the country will get a cheerful welcome from the people of the island. The foreign investments and rising economy is also growing and there are also many technological developments and new constructions here.

The Dneister River is a beautiful river and well worth a visit. Vashod is a famous village and is a good place for romance. The scenery of the sun set is so beautiful here that it makes the earth a paradise. The parks here are amazing and the government is trying hard to protect and preserve nature.
