Marriners Lookout boasts a panoramic view of the town, the harbour and the long stretch of beaches. Just a short distance away is the Great Otway National Park, with its rugged slopes and remnant rainforest, as well as the lighthouse at Cape Otway. The Otway Fly is an amazing walk among the treetops of the rainforest and offers a wonderful way to see the ancient landscape.

There is a great range of eateries, many featuring the locally caught seafood and a number of cosy tea houses dot the Otway Ranges. Enjoy browsing the local shops and hunt for treasure at the markets on the foreshore each Saturday, or if you are looking for serious retail therapy, Geelong and Lorne are nearby.

The Great Ocean Walk stretches for 91kms from Apollo Bay and ends near the Twelve Apostles and much of the route boasts wonderful views of the coastline. Another day trip well worth making is the short drive to spectacular Marriners Falls, along the Barham River Road.
